A Piece of My Story (& How To Keep Going)

These were a few questions I’ve received over the last few weeks. Since transitioning away from specifically focusing on food and body, I realized there are parts of my story that I haven’t shared in full detail and wanted to create the space to share how I have gotten to where I am today.

For so much of my life I relied on external validation to feel enough, I listened to other people's opinions of me and doubted myself. Through my journey and through prioritizing myself, I have gotten to a point where I know I deserve to live my life unapologetically and pursue the things I actually want for myself.

You are so capable of living the life YOU desire. So hopefully hearing a bit about my story will help you feel called to pursue your dreams too.

Because there is a HUGE difference between a goal that feels super exciting, fun, and challenging VS A goal that leaves you feeling pressured, anxious, and not enough.

So during this episode I break down the difference between a goal that is driven by fear vs one that actually feels good and how to start lowering the expectation bar and make decisions/goals from a feel good place!

Pursuing Your Dreams Isn’t About Being 100% Ready..

The day I recorded this episode, I was reflecting on where I started with everything, how much I can remember sitting at my first 9-5 corporate sales job thinking, “well, this is my life now… I’m stuck.”

Due to several different self limiting thoughts, I believed for a long time that I couldn’t pursue the life I deeply wanted. And so I kept living feeling numb and unfulfilled… all the while comparing myself to those who seemed to have the life I wanted.

It wasn’t until I DECIDED to start. To believe “what if my dreams WERE possible…” that things started coming together. Leading me to filling my days with the things that truly light me up.

So today, I wanted to talk about my journey. Why it isn’t about being 100% ready before pursuing what you want for your life and what it looks like to just START.

Because I never want you to look back and ask “what if…” You deserve to create the life of your dreams starting NOW.

Over the weekend, someone made a not so nice assumption about me… and in that moment I had a choice: to either believe that opinion as true OR decide to brush it off and continue to believe MY truth about me.

I wanted to talk about this decision making process and walk through why it is so important to create awareness around when/if we do this in life… because it can drastically change our overall level of happiness and the way we feel about ourselves.

At the end of the day, we are the ones who get to decide how we feel about ourselves and what is true, because no one else has lived your story, only you know your heart.

Learning how to confidently make decisions in my life has helped me create one that feels fulfilling, purposeful, and authentic to who I am and want to be… and I want to help you be able to do the same, because we need your truth… always <3
